The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the country held a Korean Festival at a shopping centre in Berakas. The festival which is held until the 3rd of August, was officiated on 1st August night.

The festival was launched by Doctor Siti Norkhalbi binti Haji Wahsalfelah, Acting Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports. The 3-day festival includes various activities to introduce the Republic of Korea's culture. Also present was His Excellency Sun Nahmkook, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Brunei Darussalam.
